How to use AM4Mate
Better route information produces a more useful aircraft recommendation.
Enter distance and budget
These are required. Distance removes aircraft that cannot fly the route, while budget removes aircraft you cannot currently afford.
Copy the route details
Enter runway length and Y, J and F demand from the route screen. Demand is essential for calculating a useful seat configuration and realistic daily profit.
Add your operating costs
Enter your current fuel and CO₂ prices and select the correct game mode. Leaving these blank uses general defaults, which may not reflect your airline.
Choose your game stage
Game stage changes what the ranking values. Starter favours affordability and payback; mid game gives more weight to daily profit; late and end game value profit per fleet position. It does not replace route demand or cost inputs.
Seeing the A380 repeatedly?
If the A380 keeps appearing first, you probably have not entered enough route information. Add runway, all demand classes, fuel and CO₂ prices, then run the analysis again. Without these details, a very large high-profit aircraft can dominate the general ranking.
Read the alternatives
Do not rely only on the first result. Compare purchase price, estimated daily profit, capacity, range, fuel consumption and payback across the ranked alternatives.
